Mary Todd Lincoln's awareness of the political pulse of this country was instrumental in the election of her husband as president.  Her ego driven idea of what the leader of a nation should be changed the White House forever.  For all her faults, Mary Todd was the first First Lady. Her husband's rise to President of the U.S., the horrors of his death and her own confinement in an insane asylum are powerfully relived by an exasperating, loving, pushy, flirtatious, manipulating, quiet and unpredictable woman ... not always likable and therefore never dull! 
Patty first performed this one-woman show at Chyro Arts Venue in April, 2008.  It is a full length, 2 act play with intermission.
